2 little cutie dogs. Well, one was a dog the other a puppy to be exact.

After watching marley and me, all the dogs in the world at any point of time becomes"marley" to me. LOL

End of the day, at my block lift, I was stunned to see this.
Someone paint a very beautiful picture of someone's contact and unit he is staying in.

HD ready vs Full HD

I know i am going to get a HDTV one of these days because of my PS3 and Blu Ray functions.

So i did a little read up on the difference between HD ready and Full HD. How come there is a big price difference between a HDTV and a Full HD.

“An HD-ready panel has a resolution starting at 720 pixels, which allows HD viewing. But the full-HD screens have 1080p horizontal lines. And the more lines, the better the resolution, resulting in better picture quality and clarity,”

Movies on Blu-Ray disks are full-HD DVDs. When the Blu-Ray disk is played on an HD player into a full- HD television with HD cables, people will be able to see the 1080 resolution.

HD signals
720i - 1280x720 interlaced
720p - 1280x720 progressive scan
1080i - 1920×1080 interlaced
1080p - 1920×1080 progressive scan

HDTV types
HD Ready - HDTV set capable of accepting HD signals (may not be able to display at full resolution 1920x1080)
Full HD - HDTV set capable of accepting HD signals and able to display full resolution at 1920x1080
720p HDTV - another name for HD Ready HDTV
1080p HDTV - another name for Full HD HDTV

Most of the HDTVs today are able to support 720i/720p/1080i/1080p signals. So the single most important spec that we should be looking for when choosing a HDTV is the screen resolution (pixel resolution).

For HD Ready HDTVs which have screen resolution less than 1920x1080, they are less than ideal. This is because if you feed a 1080i/1080p signal to a HD Ready HDTV, this HDTV will scale down the signal resolution to fit its smaller screen resolution. That is to say, you will lose resolution if you use a HD Ready HDTV to display a 1080i/1080p signal.

For Full HD HDTVs, they have screen resolution of 1920x1080, thus, when a 1080i or 1080p signal is feed to it, it is able to display the picture in its full glory at 1920x1080 with no resolution loss.

So in short, I should be hunting for a FULL CHEAP HD TV which allows me to view blu ray movie at 1080P..wohooo!

Just went for a "FREE" seminar on Forex trading at a known finanical academy.

Is a freaking 5 hrs talk and talk.

First few hours, tell us what they will be offering. Seems interesting but nothing new.

The part we've been waiting is the live trading demonstrate by the CEO himself. He is willing to share his expensive and some basic fundamentals.

Here's wat he says :

If you got 5k USD, please go invest in Futures
If you just started working and not much capital, bo bian then play forex spot rate.
Knowledge is power, the more you know, the more you can control and minimise your losses.
Is not about winning or losing but about how much you can keep at the end of the period.
Chart analysis is so important that all the news we read are all out dated.

The 7 days course offered is expensive but should be good enough to make us a good trader.

In the end, did not take up the course but took his name card, just in case, for future reference.

For the above, I SKIP MY DINNER but got 2 free cds on technical analysis and risk management

So after visiting Mr ronald site, I realise i have been missing a lot.

So Wats up with me recently. Busy with work and to reward myself.

Here's wat I got

PS3 120 GB with 2 controllers

And went to buy a Blu Ray movie to test it on my ps3. In the end i bought Red Cliff2.
So I 兴高采烈的把它撕开，act like interior like "pirated" one. Inside the Blu ray casing, there is only ONE disc and nothing. OMG! and it does not come cheap...

And the above is a RMVB player which allows me to play all forms of media. Finally can watch Hongkong Serial on my 29 inch TV!!!

Lost friend/ Fish Fillet

I know someone long ago, she was single at that time. We can chat almost anything under the sun, went out few times. Until recently, then i realise she is attached. It seems that she would want to cut off any possible contacts with other guys. I call her out of the blue to chat but no pick up phone. I drop a msg on to her MSN, how are you? No reply.. So i try again few days later, How are you? still no reply.
Then i check her friendster and realise she is attached. It makes me wonder if couples in the inital stages of relationship are living in the world of their own? In that case, she would jolly be deleted from contact list, makes me looks so dumb to keep bugging her...

Anyway, I learnt how to fried a Fish fillet. Haha

I do not know if the ways i fried is correct, but here goes
1) heat up the wok,
2) applied a layer of oil
3) wait for while to heat it up
4) put the fillet in
5) flip here and there and til is "chao da" a bit
6) ready to be served.

Conclusion : The final product is edible.

Si Chuan Earthquake

If you were me, taking a month's leave at home revising "hard" for exams. And the only source of entertainment is SCV( channel 49 for taiwan news on recent China's worst hit earthquake). Couldn't help thinking and bothered by those suffering there in pain and loss of loved ones.

Like what my mum said, trapped deep beneath piles of heavy bricks is a torture. I think is even worse than drowning, as you are still able to struggle to live/swim even with a a piece straw. What about those trapped underneath? Only lying there in pain, waiting for help! No way they can move especially with a huge piles of rubbles sitting on top of them.

I feel relived especially when some did managed to survive out of this ordeal after the "golden" 72 hours.

Unforunately for some others in order to get out; had to resort to amputate their own limbs BY THEMSELVES after being crushed by the falling blocks

I feel sorry for those parents who have lost their only child in this disastarous earthquake. (see how important a child is to a parent due to the "one-child policy in China)

We should however cherish our lives as Singapore is in a free from the earthquake zone. Though ,e do encounter slight tremours if there is any major earthquake from Neighbouring country, Indonesia.

Nothing should be taken as granted.

My friend's wedding

Days before the actual wedding, was reminded to reach early . Well, we did as faithful followers.

Bus was a long ride till a family with 2 kids on their arms sat behind us. Everything seems all rite til a purgent smell( distinctive vomitting smell) overwhelm our bodies. My thoughts of dropping ang bao and leave, if should the smell persist on "perfumed" body. Glad it didn't.

Someone say i becoming handsome...ok i noted it with thanks and 让我活在那一分中的善良谎言.

OH great. we were the first few to reach, waitress ask if i want red wine? but i prefer riberna but they dun have. So i have orange drink and peanuts instead.

MY wish was granted when we sat with a pool of babes and yandaos (exclude me). I could not stop admiring them. 男生不是横行发展就是壮汉，女生穿的布料少了一点点但个个美如天仙。i just could not foresee my self to wear tanktop in the near future...

There was even a live performance ..ho ho ho...nice nice...many pple were busy eating though..

Phototaking session for class 4-4, haha I miss those days.
